Tentang Peran:
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join the culinary team at Nongbu Market in Badung, Bali. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment. As Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in maintaining our kitchen's operational excellence, food quality, and team performance. You will report directly to the Head Chef and be responsible for ensuring that all culinary standards are met whilst supporting the development of our talented kitchen brigade.

Tanggung Jawab Utama:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and culinary innovation
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure all stations are properly staffed and organised
- Monitor food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating standards to maintain consistency and quality
- Train, supervise, and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to health and safety protocols
- Manage inventory, stock rotation, and food cost control measures
- Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen
- Handle kitchen equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Manage food orders and coordinate with suppliers
- Lead the kitchen during service and manage any issues that arise
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer satisfaction

Yang Kami Cari:
- Minimum 5 years' professional kitchen experience, with at least 2 years in a sous chef or senior chef role
- Formal culinary training or recognised chef qualification from an accredited institution
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen regulations
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques and culinary methods
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of menu costing and food cost management
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian is advantageous
- Creative mindset with passion for culinary excellence
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
