Quality & Inventory Controller

This role is for A-players who thrive on precision, ownership, and operational excellence.
Compensation based on experience and results.
You'll play a critical role behind one of Bali's fastest-growing restaurant brands by protecting two of our most valuable assets: product quality and inventory accuracy.
This is a high-ownership role with direct exposure to management, real responsibility, and significant opportunities for growth.
If you're someone who naturally notices what others miss, enjoys building order from complexity, and takes pride in getting things right the first time, this role is for you.

We're building a high-performance team to support our growth—and we only hire people who are excited by high standards, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Role
We're looking for a hands-on Quality & Inventory Controller to own the accuracy of our inventory operations across multiple outlets.
You'll be responsible for making sure every product that enters our business meets our quality standards, every stock movement is accurately recorded, and every inventory decision is backed by reliable data.
Success in this role isn't measured by how busy you are—it's measured by how accurate, consistent, and reliable your work is.

What You'll Own
Receiving & Quality Control
- Own the receiving process from start to finish.
- Ensure every incoming delivery meets our quality and quantity standards.
- Resolve supplier discrepancies immediately before they become operational problems.
- Protect product quality through thorough inspections and proper handling.
- Maintain strict FIFO practices across all storage areas.
- Keep storage areas organized, efficient, and audit-ready at all times.

Inventory Control & System Accuracy
- Be the source of truth for our inventory data.
- Record daily COGS, receiving, waste, and inventory movements with complete accuracy.
- Maintain reliable inventory records across multiple outlets.
- Support weekly stock counts and reconcile discrepancies quickly.
- Identify issues before they impact food cost, purchasing, or operations.
- Produce accurate reports that management can confidently rely on.

Coordination & Operational Excellence
- Work closely with Purchasing, Warehouse, Kitchen, and Accounting to keep operations running without disruption.
- Resolve missing or inaccurate supplier documentation.
- Coordinate inventory adjustments and stock availability.
- Support smarter purchasing decisions through accurate inventory insights.
- Take ownership of inventory issues until they are fully resolved.

Who You Are
- You're someone who enjoys creating order, spotting inconsistencies, and holding yourself to a high standard of accuracy.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, purchasing, receiving, or supply chain within the F&B industry.
- Exceptionally detail-oriented—you catch the small mistakes before they become expensive problems.
- Highly organized and naturally systematic in the way you work.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets and inventory management systems.
- Strong with numbers and confident reconciling stock discrepancies.
- Learn new systems, SOPs, and processes quickly.
- Self-driven—you don't wait to be told what needs fixing.
- Reliable and accountable—you follow through until the job is done.
- Comfortable in a hands-on operational role, including handling stock and working in warehouse and cold storage environments.
- Flexible to work split shifts when operational needs require it.

Why This Role
Your work directly impacts food cost, purchasing efficiency, operational consistency, and ultimately the guest experience.
When inventory is accurate, kitchens perform better. When quality is protected, guests notice.
You'll become the person the business relies on to ensure every number can be trusted and every product meets our standards.

Important
This role is for people who:
- Thrive in fast-moving operational environments.
- Take pride in accuracy and consistency.
- Naturally take ownership without being asked.
- Solve problems before they become bigger problems.
- Enjoy working with measurable standards and clear accountability.
- Hold themselves to high professional standards every day.

This role is NOT for people who:
- Cut corners or accept "good enough."
- Frequently overlook details or make the same mistakes repeatedly.
- Need constant supervision to stay on track.
- Wait for instructions instead of taking initiative.
- Become overwhelmed by fast-paced operations.
- Struggle to stay organized when priorities change.
- Avoid accountability for their work or the accuracy of their results.
