Purchasing and Storekeeper
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma; hospitality, warehouse, or supply chain education is a plus.
- 1+ year of experience as a Storekeeper, Inventory Clerk, Warehouse Staff, or similar role in hospitality, wellness, or F&B operations.
- Understanding of inventory control, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), receiving procedures, and storage standards.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments.
- Physically capable of handling and moving inventory items when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
- Store wellness products, supplies, beverages, food ingredients, and operational materials according to company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all stock movements, including receiving, issuing, transfers, and returns.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment requests with purchasing or management.
- Conduct regular stock counts and stock opname to ensure physical inventory matches system records.
- Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) and monitor expiry dates for perishable items.
- Keep storage areas clean, organized, secure, and compliant with hygiene and safety standards.
- Prepare inventory and usage reports for management and relevant departments.
- Support operational teams by issuing requested items in a timely manner.
- Report discrepancies, damages, or potential inventory issues to the supervisor promptly.
