Logistics Sales Leader (LTL & Retail)
Key Responsibilities:
- New Client Acquisition: Conduct cold calling, networking, and field visits to find prospective clients (retail, medium-to-large UMKM, distributors) requiring regular distribution.
- Solution Selling: Analyze client supply chains and propose the most efficient LTL (consolidated cargo) and retail shipping schemes.
- Pricing & Proposal Management: Draft proposals, calculate shipping rate structures, and handle negotiation processes until contracts are signed.
- Account Management: Maintain good relations with existing clients, ensure smooth service delivery, and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities (e.g., new routes or volume increases).
- Account Receivable Monitoring: Coordinate with the Finance team to monitor payment statuses and ensure clients settle invoices on time.
- Operational Collaboration: Act as a bridge between clients and the operational team (warehouse/couriers) to ensure LTL and retail shipping SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Logistics Sales/ Cargo Sales/ Retail Sales in the Logistics/Freight Forwarding industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of national logistics networks and LTL shipping schemes.
- Key Skills: Strong persuasive communication, networking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
