HEAD TEACHER – ENGLISH FOR KIDS - WonderMind Puri Indah

The Head Teacher will be responsible for ensuring the quality of English instruction across the learning center by coaching, mentoring, and managing the English teaching team. This role combines academic leadership, teacher development, and operational collaboration to support student retention and overall learning outcomes.
The Head Teacher will accumulate subject knowledge through ongoing training and professional development while also leading teacher training initiatives, analyzing student and teacher performance, and supporting instructional quality improvement. In addition, the role involves participating in the development of teaching materials, including textbook writing, courseware creation, and test paper preparation. The Head Teacher will deliver instructional sessions, support marketing activities, and work closely with the Operations team to ensure an excellent student and parent experience.

Persyaratan

• Graduated from a reputable university, or completed undergraduate or graduate studies in a country where English is the native language.
• Holds a language proficiency certificate with a score of 7.5 in IELTS or an equivalent level preferred.
• Previous experience in teaching English to children.
• Prior experience in teacher supervision, coaching, team leadership, or academic management is highly preferred.
• Fluent in English for professional communication.
• Passionate about education and committed to student development.
• Loves working with children and cares about their growth and success.
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, and leadership skills.
• Good emotional maturity and stress management.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to commit to a 2-year contract.

Jadwal Kerja

• Working Days : Monday – Friday 09:00 - 18:00 Saturday 09:00 - 15:00
• Ability to work on Saturdays (Sunday fixed as a day off, and the other day off can be one day from Monday to Friday or two half-days)

Tanggung Jawab

Kepemimpinan Akademik & Manajemen Guru

• Coach, mentor, and manage English Teachers to ensure high teaching standards and consistent classroom delivery.
• Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
• Support teacher onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development.
• Monitor teacher performance and assist in implementing improvement plans when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with academic standards, teaching methodologies, and curriculum requirements.

Pengajaran & Kurikulum

• Design and deliver English lessons that align with the Cambridge Curriculum and the learning goals of the institution.
• Create and adapt lesson plans and teaching materials to meet the needs of students at different English proficiency levels
• Provide personalized support and feedback to help students reach their learning targets.
• Use interactive and communicative teaching methods to build students’ confidence and interest in learning English.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor students’ progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and evaluation results.
• Participate in curriculum development, teaching material creation, and academic quality improvement initiatives.

Retensi Siswa & Dukungan Operasional

• Collaborate closely with the Operations team to support student retention initiatives and improve the overall student learning experience.
• Monitor student progress and satisfaction, proactively identifying students who may require additional support.
• Assist in resolving academic concerns raised by students or parents.
• Support parent communication regarding student progress and learning plans.
• Work with the Operations team to ensure smooth class scheduling, teacher allocation, and academic operations.

Kegiatan Pusat & Dukungan Bisnis

• Organize and participate in English-related activities such as workshops, competitions, and cultural events that enhance the learning experience.
• Support marketing, trial classes, open houses, and promotional activities when required.
• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and strategic discussions to continuously improve academic and operational performance.
